The mascara has a medium thick consistency. Black Noir is an intense black, not so much apparent on the hand swatch, but on eyes, it looks a deep black. I really like how it gives the much-needed drama to my eyes without doing anything. I am someone who faces a tirade of questions on days I don’t wear a liner or kohl. Yes, I look that SICK! It takes time to dry on the lids, so you need patience and allow time for it to dry. It stays intact for 7-8 hours which is great for a drugstore mascara. In fact, though the curls don’t hold that well, the fuller body of eyelashes don’t lose the appeal. It is NOT waterproof, so be careful but splashing water. It doesn’t flake and smudge on touching your eyes. I remove it with micellar water or eye makeup remover pad and it comes off easily. Can’t find your product? I was easily able to apply the Voluminous Feline Noir and I didn’t get any clumping. It also added volume and length to my lashes. I do recommend only using one coat though, two coats looked too thick on me.
